The Link Between Panic Attacks and Depression

An estimated one in twenty United States residents suffer from panic disorders and depression. You might notice that depression often leads to greater levels of anxiety. People suffering from anxiety disorders may not try to find medical attention because they are often fearful that they could get diagnosed with a heart or lung condition since the symptoms of anxiety attacks are often described as feeling like a heart attack.
