Bipolar Mood Disorder

Bipolar disorder may cause mood swings that may range from the lows of depression to the highs of mania. During the lows, an individual may feel downcast or hopeless or perhaps lose interest in many activities. When mood shifts into the opposite direction, an individual may feel euphoric and full of energy. The incidence of mood shifts might be as little as a couple of times a year to as much as a couple of times a week.
